  The engine as originally installed. Note how unlike a conversion a Subaru engine can look in a VW. You have to look closely to spot that it's not a factory fitted installation. Also note the reversed inlet manifold - not necessary on most T25's, but it helps if you have a Webasto coolant heater, as I do.
  The plumbing is usually nowhere near as complex as shown in the picture. Most of the 'heater' sized hoses shown are for the Webasto heater.
