This customer’s bay early window bus looks like it will be something special once completed. As well as an Impreza turbo engine which will be running on LPG, it has Porsche brakes all around, 944 alloy rear trailing arms, and air suspension on all four corners. The chassis rail surgery requires to fit the air suspension in looks drastic, but appears to have been done to a very high standard. It makes the owner’s custom engine mounting system look simple! Note that he’s using the upper bellhousing rubber mounts from a later model bay, all be it totally modified to clear the turbo, etc.
