     There are an enormous amount of Subaru engines types available which are of potential use in VW conversions. RJES products are suitable for the engines made from the 1990 model year (MY90) onwards - i.e. the EJ series of flat fours, and the EG and EZ series of flat sixes.
     The table below shows a very simplified version of all the different types based on UK specification Subaru’s. When the different capacities were used and which Subaru models used them can vary a lot on other markets, and there will be many variations of each of the types listed for different markets. The specifications below are based on Subaru figures wherever possible:
